Engineer, student, learner

I strive to solve problems that make people's lives better. As generic as that may sound, I've cursed (rather, blessed) myself with the burden of seeking knowledge. I find the knowledge gained from every failed project just as satisfying as the results reaped from those that succeed. My curiosity is as much of a part of me as a limb or an eye would be, and the more I know, the more I find I don't know.

Forward

I love going as low level as I can. You won't find me writing assembly code (although, I have), but I do like reverse engineering, writing homebrew for game consoles, and running useless code in my microcontrollers, among other things. My attraction towards obscure Linux distributions could probably be studied. I use Debian, btw.

Don't worry, I do some useful stuff, too. I'm pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering in Nebrija University (Madrid), as I intern as a data engineer in Telefónica. My repos aren't very interesting, as I don't host most of what I make. Feel free to read more about some of my projects in my journal.

Human, first and foremost

I am a human, in the best and worst ways. I make mistakes, just like any other human, but I attempt to build upon them instead of punishing myself for them. I understand that any product I build ultimately exists to serve humanity, and as such, I develop with humans in mind.

I support AI in the betterment of society. I do believe that it will become incredibly useful for developers, and that it has the potential to save lives, maybe as part of algorithms meant to diagnose diseases, in self-driving vehicles, or even just as agents in cybersecurity. I don't think it can make art autonomously. I don't think it should ever replace human interaction.

I am a human, and as such, I believe that we must go beyond our careers in order to be satisfied with our lives. I am regular gym-goer, I love rock climbing, show watching, reading, cats, dogs, cooking great food, hanging out with friends, bicycles, walks, pretending I make good coffee, and much, much more. That is, I'm a human, and you'll find me in the places where you see people.
